wheats and small .925

found it odd that yesterday neither of us found a wheat penny all day? so this morning I went to a field in a park that I had already pulled about 40 wheats from... it gave up two more and a small .925 pendant or necklace charm...which also rang in at 12-42 ...the wheat range! so that was a nice surprise. I'm only 69 wheats away from 200 FTY and 6 silver coins away from 50 FTY

I'm hoping it's back.. I really enjoyed myself yesterday with no pressure to find anything, and today just went out to find a few wheats and did! next hunt will be a dig every signal at another hunted out spot... I like those the best...

Mixing it up keeps it exciting, good idea Gunwolf.
We've got this place in the woods that over the years it had produced more silver than any other place we've ever hunted but in the last couple years it's dried up, we've decided to get back in there, lower our disc down to just above iron and see if we can unmask some more silver.
Our thoughts are there has to be a lot more silver in there but it's being masked by these low ferris targets.
Even if we don't find any silver it's for sure got our hopes up, we'll see how this turns out.

During my hunts I find a few Wheats from year to year. The key word here is Few. Another 4 and I'll have 10 for this season. Heck, I get excited digging 1965 Quarters! "Honey I just missed Silver by one year" !
