Whatzit are these things

Been hunting a spot near home that has yielded many odd things / attached are a few
I have 20 or more of them and 2 of them appear to still be hooked together
The material on the back side is not dirt but possible something else

along with these odd copper???? things i have also found more than 15 empty tubes of a burn ointment called "First Thought in Burns" made in Norwich New York
all this is in the weeds in a local park that dates back to the 30's

I'm thinking maybe a watch band. The stuff on the back maybe some kind of stretchy stuff. Like a rubber.

Yeap an old watch band, it looks like a Spidel Twist O Flex band, sure the parts came from a watch band.

Thanks everybody, that is so cool and i think you are right.
the spot i am finding these have turned up other pieces of clothing and jewelry

lets just say, a shady part of town in the 30's
