[size=medium]I dropped one from only 3 feet off the floor and it stopped. I wrote to the company and they said take it to a jeweler for repair. They would not replace it. This was about 20+ years ago. Haven't owned one since and don't plan on getting one in the near future. I won't do business with a company that doesn't honor their slogan. :thumbdown: :thumbdown:
 
Don't push a Timex up against the main bus bar of your electrical panel either, it not only stops the watch it fuses the links of the band together.
It happened to my stepfather, didn't kill him but sure made him tingle all over:stars::cool:. They had to cut the Timex off of his wrist at the hospital, the burn mark was on his wrist for years.:stretcher:
