what is your favorite places and most successful finds and what made you come up with the place in mind?
:detecting:

Any grass area where people park their vehicles to gather for events. People just seem to lose a lot out stuff getting in and out of their vehicles. Most areas are surfaced where people park which makes finding their drops easy, but grass parking areas they go unnoticed..

Sports fields, Parks, vacant lots in the old parts of town, River and beach.

Best finds are gold and platinum ring and 6 mercury dimes. I live in the
California desert, so not a lot of real old coins available.

This is a good post, has not been asked before.

The AT Pro is a very good little coin machine.

Pro Zero, "0" Desc. is how I roll most of the time.

My personal favorite is small mining supply towns.

100+ year old neighborhood parks and supposedly hunted-out areas.

Although, I'm starting to like water hunting now that I can.
