:wave:Hi All well got out A little with Southwind AKA Terry and another hunting buddy Cass we went to A field west of here that had A fort on it back in the early 1850s there's two separate fields we have had permission on the north field well we got lucky and talked to the owner of the field to the south and he gave us permission to hunt well took the old Etrac and went to huntin found this worn out Silver coin there Terry found A 1839 half dime around there some years ago it has some reeding on the edge but that's all that makes it look like it should be A coin it is slightly bigger Diameter then my Seated Barber Merc and Rosie Dimes and is slightly thinner then them to went to Terry and checked the silver content its at least 80% silver just wished it had more detail telling what kind of coin it might be so tell me what you all think here's A couple of Pics of it thanks for looking HH
 
capped bust dimes are just slightly bigger diameter as well........I found one that was almost smooth and it is a tad bigger than other dimes capped bust are 18.8mm, seated are 17.9 as well are barber, mercs and rosies
