Whats your opinion of the 1266X?

Excellent weighting and ergonomics with batteries under armcup. Deep unit used mostly for relics but a good coin unit also. Extremely noisy machines with its snap crackle and pop rejecting targets but once you learn its language many have done well with this unit for years..Not made anymore as it was replaced by the 1270 but many used ones around as they made a bunch of them...
 
I wish that I had never sold my 1266X. It is one heck of a coin detector. At the park, or the beach. You can swing it very fast. John
 
I am on my second 1266, having used a 1265 previously. All told, been using them the last 18 years. I love it & as Dan pa said, you have to learn it - get used to it. I cant imagine another machine helping me find more out there. 23 gold and close to 9,000 coins with it this year so far. Steve in so az
