What's wrong with my Eldorado??.....

I'm pretty sure my detector need to go for a check up, but I thought I would bounce this off a few people first. I'm suddenly not getting the depth I used to out of my eldorado. I've tried a new battery, ground balanced it and I can barely get 4 inches on a penny. It used to get around 7 inches in an air test. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks!

if performance still stinks, send it off to the factory for service.
It's just that simple.

Air test it.. ..
Might be a help..
Then Follow Monte's advice..Heh

Thanks Monte
I've tested it with the 7" (my favorite), the 9X8 and the 10X12. Even with the big coil I didn't gain more than another half inch. I think it's got to be sent in to tesoro. Thanks for echoing my thoughts.

Rob,
What part of the country are you from? I'm in California, and my soil is highly mineralized, I generally only get about 6 -7 inches in this soil.
What are you getting before your eldo went south?

I'm in British Columbia, Canada and our ground has very little mineralization. I've air tested the eldorado and tested it with a coin on the ground after ground balancing as well. 4 inches is the best I can get on a penny. It used to air test at close to 7 inches. I'm sure there's a problem, but wondered what kind of perfomance other eldorado users are getting. Thanks for confirming my suspicions that the eldo is getting less than average depth.
