Whats up with this Wheat

Look at this close. I take it to be a 1919D with some sort of error. I found this today at an old house and it was extremely deep.



I don't think this is what they call Mint Condition, but that extra Metal on the last digit of the year is not damage.
 
Pretty sure it is a 1919 because when you blow up the picture you can see that extra long tail on the 9. When I get off work I will work on it and rescan it.
