Whats up pussycat........

Beautiful cat. Thanks for the picture and the memories.

Dave, We too had a stray that looked like that and we named him Yeller. Too funny.....

You guys have some great shots of the kitties.... Dave, yours kind of looks like he runs the place all perched up and setting pretty on his throne

the stray cat that we recently adopted. We haven't named it yet, just call it "Orange Cat." Thanks for sharing the picture of the cat. Kelley (Texas) :)

Oh my gosh, I had to laugh because we too took a plastic tub and cut out a place for the cat to have a place to stay warm in the winter. Oh, we also put a heating pad in there too. Sammy looks like a well fed cat and beautiful coloring too. :bouncy:

Nancy, we put a blanket in there but not electric. Haven't seen him in a long time, sadly. Hey, also, I posted a reply to you on the metal detecting forum using the link you gave but doesn't seem to show up. I had mentioned that I have an mxt300 and a couple of gmt's for the tiny gold. One of the gmt's I enclosed in plexiglass to make it an underwater detector.

Dave, It did show on the MXT forum. Thank you! So you made one into a water detector, that's so cool and have you found much gold with it?

I don't have a picture of our old Yeller because he went to kitty heaven and is buried in our back yard. Stray cats don't seem to last too long around this area since we live on a highway. :stars: Our Sammy doesn't go outside at all and doesn't want to either.

Oh, ok, so it did show up. Yes I've found quite a bit of gold. The gmt picks up even tiny tiny links etc. but of course it also picks up tiny bb's and bits of foil! I didn't go detecting last year....I might try again this year. I have some health issues that no one can figure out....feel great one minute and lousy the next....some sort of fibromyalgia or probably stenosis of the neck because when I was younger I crashed a few times in a hang glider and now it's catching up with me! Anyway it's also a challenge at any beach around here now because you have to cozy up to the park ranger or whoever is in charge....a lot of them will throw you out for some reason, even though I'd go really early and not bother anyone and I'd always show them the bag full of foil and nails etc I would find.....you'd think they'd be grateful that you clean up the beach! I've also returned rings etc. whenever there was ever identification. Funny, I found one class ring and finally found the girl that owned it and she didn't even want it back, and it was gold....duh! I even said we could meet at a police station or whatever but I still have it. Folks are strange! I'm sure you've run into some of the same problems as well.

Dave, very sorry about your health. Hope they figure out what's going on.

Boy that's sure strange about the gal that didn't want her class ring back. Some people are unbelievable. Well, you tried and now it's yours. We too will try to return rings when there's identification on them. I've been blessed to return one class ring that was lost for 36 years and the gal was VERY happy. Totally understand why beach hunting would be diminished with the ordeal you've got to put up with. Jumping through hoops just to get out on the beach would be ludicrous and it would make me not wanting to go. As for tot-lots, I feel so good when we find nails, bullets, shards of aluminum, etc. I would hate to have a little child hurt.
