General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

tried ordering a part took half day trying to get ahold of someone,left messages never got an answer back??Had to makes more calls got passed on to other people who did not know anything concerning parts.Finally spoke to a person named ruby and took my information down,but the parts person Art never gave me a call.its been a week and never got the part so far and I am only 200 miles away,so I call today to check on the order left message again its closing time ----NO ANSWER:sick:
 
Finally got a message the part was never sent until today,took a week to ship it:veryangry:
 
Try calling Ford for a spark plug. Parts sales to the general public is not what they do. I know it seems like a nice thing to do, but it is not what large manufacturer's do. First Texas is a class outfit and it is by grace they sell parts at all. Sure there are several smaller companies who have people that do it. Did you want to know or just vent?
 
I believe you are correct on this as I remember a few years ago something was on the forums about this and most of these companies sell the parts to the actual dealer and not to the general public as they were saying for them to send 1 part at a time would cost too much for them or the customer and many of the dealers are to have most of these on stock. If it is a special part they will send it to the dealer you bought the detector from and has to be order though the dealer., if you bought it used you should be able to get it from any dealer.

This has been my experience too.....Not for ordering parts but for customer service.
 
I go through my dealers and they have the part shipped with their next order. I'm sure Larry at NWI and Richard at Backwoods can both do this for you. Also, sometimes the dealers may have the part you need laying around. At least the stocking dealers might. Those guys that have nothing but a dealer name and drop ship everything won't have nothing.

Did you guys ever come up with the parts for your Fishers. I need the slide plate that screws to the top of handle for a CZ-20, hopefully the same part as the CZ-21 uses since Fisher no longer supports the CZ-20. I don't think there are any Fisher dealers who stock parts in this area but I will try the two locals first. Let the fun begin. Thanks. bjones
