I posted this on an earlier garrette forum and still dont know what it is. I found it in an area where i also found a officers button from war of 1812, anyone have nay idea? its about 10 inches long. It has "P" on one end and "N" on the other end

not strong enough to carry a battery and was found along side items from 1800's. strange thing is, it has a letter "P" on one end and the other end has the letter "N" . I think the letter "N" is visible in the pic. the lenght is about 10 inches

n/t

If it's just a section of what was once a longer piece, it could be part of an "Electric Belt" from the late 1800's.
