Whats the scoop on the Ace 350...

Looking for some input on those that have used in the field...I know it has a hgher freq., larger double D coil, and a revised block meter system but is it just a revised Ace 250 or a superior unit.
Don't be bashful and perhaps a experienced Ace user can add some input....

I'm new at this, but I really like my ACE-350. I haven't found silver or gold yet, but then again, I haven't left my property. I have found lots of cool relics, 2 wheat pennies and 2 Indian Heads. the Indian Heads are dated 1864 and 1906. Clad total about $3.00. It will find the smallest of targets, i.e. .22 rim fire cartridge, small nails at at least 10 inches. Once you learn the tones, pinpointing etc., you can get a real accurate idea before you dig of what you will find in the hole.

I've got one for my backup to the AT Pro........found alot of stuff with it prior to getting "Blackie".....been sitting in the corner gathering dust since February I haven't need any backup

Actually its the wifes I got it for her Christmas present.....that went over like a Lead Zeppelin I think it was the yellow color that clashed with her outfit

QH, you remind me of a friend of mine. He bought his mother a 12 guage shotgun for Christmas one year, knowing she would not use it. She made him sweat until just before hunting season the next year before she gave it to him. I hope the wife decides to try it out. Maybe you could spray paint it a color that suits her. HH

Well the story was We were going to get metal detectors so WE could retire and go metal detecting on the beaches blah blah blah anytime we wanted.....so I got her the ACE 350 first, and it just happened to come in about 2 weeks prior to Christmas. Her Birthday is on December 27 so of course she needed a ProPointer too...... The little filly said go ahead and open it and try it out........LOL........so I did everyday until Blackie arrived in late February. At this point WE each had a detector........well she retired and if she didn't go back to work......... double dipper ........So I just metal detect everyday.....it just ain't on the beach.....by myself while the little filly is working her life away............
