What's the next BIG thing to come from Minelab ?

OK so they came out with a cool new coil for the Explorer, but is the GT the end of the line for the Sovereign ?

My own personal opinion, but that don't mean much sometimes is the sale of the Sovereign line of detectors. If the sales is down there probably wont be anything new coming out right now other than a new coil to follow the new Explorer coil. Now if sales is good for the Sovereign I would think they may come out with a new style of Sovereigns and with luck will be a lighter weight and better balance detector. Now that Minelab has been bought out by a bigger company we may just see some lighter weight Sovereigns if the sales will be there like the Explorers are.
Like I say that is just my personal opinion which is probably wrong, but time will tell and if something new is coming out I would think later this fall to the first part of the new year is when it will happen.

I'd love to see the same coil as the Explorer "Pro" coil for the Sovereign, but I'd have to question if it would be any better then the Sun Ray Intruder (albeit would be smaller and lighter).

A lighter, more ergonomic Sovereign would be great, potentially with a better metering system, depth metering and of course more depth would be welcome.

We can only hope and keep our fingers crossed.:drinking:
