What's the max temperature the detector can reach ? I mean, could it work on very high temperatures ?

Operating Temperature Range 32

Here in Australia where experiencing temperatures in the high 30 c up to mid 40c. So imagine how hot these units get in the car when parked out in the sun.
Hell there are hundreds of fires burning across out continent at the moment. where going through one hell of a heat wave.

Weve seen some of your heatwave on the news up here in the states...big fire storms and folks missing...yeah be safe fellows.

I know in the summer here in Houston it got over a hundred many times and I left the CTX in the truck a couple of those days while I hunted with the E-trac. Had to be well over a hundred in the truck and one time my i-phone said it was too hot so it gave a warning message and would not work until cooled in the AC vent for a few minutes.

113 degrees F is the upper limit! Sort of makes one wonder if it can handle being out in the sun when it is over a hundred and it being black soaking up the heat! I know I hunted many a day with it over a hundred for 3 to 5 hours! The CTX never even worked up a sweat!

Thanks!!!
If its too hot for you to hunt then its too hot for the machine. You're not going to hunt under the sun at 113 degrees are you?
I have a few other machines and left them in my car at over 120+ degrees including my explorer xs and no problem. I'm here in central California and it gets really hot during the summer months 110+ degrees.
Just take the plunge like the rest of us. You also have 3 years warranty on the control box and coil.
