What's The Largest Coil Made For The Classic 3SL?

15 inch Blue Max. Go to the Whites web site and search for coils. It's $149.00 But I'm sure you could find a used one.
 
That coil is not designed for individual coin shooting. So only buy it if you are into hunting buried caches.
 
I know what a cache is.I just never heard of anyone using the C3 for hunting for them.
 
A guy asked me one day if what I was doing. I said just looking for metal. He said will it find coins? I said yes because they were metal. Then he said "but will it pick up a diamond ring?" What I'm saying is a metal detector is just that. Doesn't matter what brand or model. So if your cache is metal, detector set up correctly and within it's reach your machine will beep.
