Bounty Hunter Platinum on EBay new for $299 with ergonomic handle
Teknetics 6000 Gamma on Ebay new for $499 with typical S handle

They look almost exactly the same with same features except the BH has a handle system found on more expensive units and at $200 less.

Other than the physical handle setup:

Gamma has manual GB, Platinum does not. So Gamma can be GBed to wet salt water manually. Platinum will only go to 40 in Gound Grab, no less.

Process has Gamma being able to detect to 11" according to manual, Platinum able to detect to 9".

The Gamma has screw in coil connector to use all Greek coils, The Platinum uses plug in coil connector.

Not exactly the same unit, but one has to see if the extra $200 fits their hunting style.

One other feature that is different is the Gamma has Target ID in all metal.
