between the 6000 DI Pro sl and the 6000 XL Pro? Which is the better unit, and which is newer with the latest technology. If they are some what equal, what would each one be better at?:surrender:

The XL Pro is the newer of the two. The only difference is ergonomics with the XL Pro having the smaller XLT size control box. They did make some changes in the electronics going to the smaller case but performance in the field and feature wise there is no difference.
 
Sorry.........those two are near if not same with diffeent decal..I think LOL
 
I had the 6000 DI Pro Sl . The analog meter is a good learning tool identifing metals, adjustable volume is nice. It payed for itself in finds . A lot of weight compared to the newer models.
