Just a few posts below......... http://www.findmall.com/read.php?25,1405856

Some dealers will work with your on the coil choice.

There's noting really wrong with the standard MXT or MXT 300. They work, quite well, and are catered a bit more for the all-around detectorist who might go nugget hunting, but mainly wants to coin hunt or relic hunt. My personal opinions, however, are that different search coil decisions should have been made for the MXT's and even the M6.

Certainly, the majority of all metal detecting hobbyists, especially in the USA, are interested in 'coin hunting.' While there might be times when we could use a little increase in detection depth, or might prefer a little more coverage per sweep, I believe most typical hunting will have us engaging iron nails, bottle caps, pull tabs, foil, and all manner of discarded junk. For improved handling of trashy conditions so we can work in between the junk, we ought to be using a smaller-size search coil. My personal pick for these models is the 5.3 Eclipse. This is a round, 6

For me, the ground grab and (especially) the backlight make it worth owning a Pro. Sure is nice when the sun is setting to be able to extend your hunt into the early evening by pressing a button...:usaf:

I've owned the MXT and the MXT Pro. I LOVE THOSE new TONE IDs available on the MXT Pro!!!!! Its a great added addition and It is definitely worth it to me! Once you learn those tones, you dont have to watch the screen all the time.. Good luck. CCH
