Whats the difference in the 300

Bones

New member
Hello
I have the mxt 300 and was wondering what the difference is from the mxt pro other than back lighting and tones. Just do not see much mentioned about the 300. Seems like its shown as the same machine other than that. I bought the 300 recently not knowing much about it. The video that came with it doesnt mention the 300 part just the refrence its a mxt. Right now the 300 has all the adjustments I need. Thanks

The 300 would be the same as the regular mxt except the 12 coil and paint job the regular mxt comes with the 950,,,the new pro has the tones, backlight, ground grab added the internal of all 3 is the same so either one with the same coil should be the same as for performance.

RounderRick. Thanks for the info. I thought i might have bought a lemon since I had not seen the 300 mentioned. Now i just need to find some treasures.

have the same use with the toggle switch as the other MXT's.
The MXT Pro when the toggle switch is locked forward, it just locks it in the Pin Point mode, all metal in the C & J mode.

No, mxt didn't make no lemons so no matter which one of the 3 you pick you got a winner.
If you gonna hunt in parks that's pretty trashy you might want to get a smaller coil my 950 drove me nuts until I got my little shooter coil I can imagine a 12" coil in them areas would be much worse.
