What's the difference between the MXT Pro and the All Pro?

I haven't used the MXT for about 5-6 years and have gotten interested in getting another one. I haven't been able to locate any info on the difference beteen the Pro and All Pro. Any info would be great, thanks.

A little sticker that says "All". Yep, that's the only difference. :surprised:

The All Pro comes with the 10" D2 coil. I believe the Pro came with the 12" concentric coil. Otherwise, they are the same.

As Pete stated below, the ONLY difference between an MXT Pro and an MXT All-Pro is the little 'All' on each side of the housing decals. No changes internally, just a 3-letter word decal.

Do you have an original MXT or and MXT Pro?

If you have the MXT then you could buy an MXT Pro or MXT All-Pro and get the same detector with the 'All' difference on the decal.

It wasn't a coil change or coil upgrade? Did they raise the price?
No "upgrade" in the color or the electronics or nothing, really. The MSRP was also unchanged.

As for the search coil, that doesn't really matter enough to make a change in the name of the detector. The MXT and MXT 300 are the exact same detector, but they added the '300' because that model came with the 300mm, or 12" spoked Concentric coil, instead of the stock 950.

The MXT Pro came with a 12" Concentric for $899.95, and the MXT All-Pro came with the 10" D2 Double-D coil for $899.95. However, does that mean the "All-Pro" was different because of the search coil? NO!

The MXT Pro also came with the stock 950 coil for $849.95, and the MXT All-Pro came with the same stock 950 coil for $849.95. NO DIFFERENCE except for the 'All' in the side decals.

You could generally search trashier places like I did with any of the MXT series using the smaller 6½" diameter Eclipse 5.3 coil, and any MXT, regardless of label, is still an MXT, and any MXT Pro, with or without an 'All' in the name is still an MXT Pro/All-Pro. The coil doesn't make a difference in the detector name and visa-versa.
