What's the difference between a surfmaster pi & a surf pi pro??? n/t

Surfmaster PI Pro has an adjustable Sensitivity Control.

The older Surfmaster PI had a pulse rate control.

The newer PI Pro has a pulse delay of 15uS. the older one could not go to that sensitivity without modifications. This change alone contributes to 80% of the increase sensitivity toward low conductive items of the newer Pro model. (This change has nothing to do with the removal of the pulse delay control, it's a circuit change).

They increased the sensitivity of the overall unit with the addition of the sensitivity control, but at the expence of removing the pulse delay control. Too bad, because it could have used both.
