Now I know hawloween is close . Not me Mr Andrew , but I have probably walked over and dug close to what u r asking about

We was hunting this old park and there was an area where you had to be careful when you walked because the dirt would cave in on you as you walked due too Gopher holes and tunnels. But sometimes you could find nice silver coins in the area. I got this signal and I did not know it till later that I had pulled a loaded Gopher trap out of a Gopher hole. Opps

2 Glass crack pipes! On the site of a small traveling circus!

Wait a minute my owners manual never said anything about that, the worse thing I should find should be a pull tab??

I found someones crack pipe (posted a pic some time back) and a Wisconsin license plate from 1941.

A false tooth with gold in it.-----At another time, a 1914-D counterfeit penny (that one had me excited for a bit till I showed it to a coin dealer friend of mine & he told me what I had). ---------Del

Great Stories !!! Wow thanks ! Ive yet to find any crack pipes ! Couldnt you just hear Charles Garrett "Be aware of all those crack pipes ".

I gotta say kwdstalker That's pretty freaky. Who in the world would ever buy or wear something like that? Maybe they didn't lose it - they threw it away.

A buried modern arrow !

Here are a few things:

1. metal tag (derrr...) still attached to a bird's leg - leg was just bones....
2. a whole massive steel BBQ plate
3. two bullets with the projectile of one stuck up the bottom end of the other (see pic below)
4. concrete staircase step (obviously with metal inside) buried at a beach

I'm sure there are more but this is all I could think of for now

Cheers

Another metal detector! lol Just kidding. Couldn't resist. :heh:

At Lytle Creek , about an hours hike up an old hydraulic washed ravine I found a woman's battery operated sex toy in about 8" of sand. I should be surprised but I'm not because of all the people that party in the canyon. My detector sounded off good on it probably because of the copper windings.I just can't believe they hiked that high up the mountain.
