What's The Biggest Difference Between The MXT & MXT Pro?

The Price! No really it's Tone ID, a Backlit Screen, and the Ground Grab Button.

Both have the same basic electronics and modes and operating frequency, etc., etc., etc.

The MXT has the Notch Disc. feature. Flip the trigger-toggle forward in the Coin & Jewelry mode and you have an almost useless Notch rejection of some of the older ring-pull tabs that are more conductive than the US 5

Thanks for the info Monte! The MXT Pro has just the right amount of features without things I don't need.I am thinking about buying one sometime this summer.
I have always liked the quality of Whites detectors and My Classic 3SL with Mods I bought from you about 16 so years ago is still holding up and going strong!
I have studied and read hundreds of post and reviews and watched hundreds and hundreds of videos of all the detector brands and I've decided on the MXT Pro.
It has all the features I require and a few more good ones also.I'm sure it would hold up as long as my Classic has.I personally have never had any bad detectors from Whites. I got rid of all my detectors except the Classic 3SL. I will never give that one up! It always gets the job done! It IS a Great Detector!!!

Handy chart showing the differences. I printed it out and slipped it in my manual since I have used both and need to keep the differences in mind.
