I moved into a new development about a year ago and most of the surrounding land is still wooded. I never would have guessed it was once farmland but I have been finding remnants of farming equipment all through these wooded lands. I have some items that I cannot identify and would like to post their pictures, but I'm not sure how to clean them? Can you tell me how you clean your finds? Most appear to be made of iron and some are pitted and pretty rusty.
