Whats the best beach metal detector ?

I have been looking at beach detectors . Which one will do the best? Whats the difference between the whites Beach hunter ID and the surfmaster pi pro? Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. I hunt the dry sand with my dfx with extreme good luck but looking for something to get in the water with thanks a lot !!!
 
I heard the BHID is a submersible DFX, so maybe that would be a good choice for you. Excal or CZ21, would be my choice, if I could only have one submersible though. Best of luck to ya mate!
 
I would look at the Excal. I have owned one for several years , and am very happy with their performance. I would no hesitate to recommend them to anyone who wants a good beach machine.
 
Either of those detectors you mentioned would work.. I have an Excal and a PI and in the water I go with the PI..
