A lot of times but not always when a company goes out of business there's a liquidation sale of some sort. Sell everything or as much as they can before closing the doors. Inventory, patents, parts, everything. The fact that this doesn't seem to have happened yet leaves hope that something might be in the works. Like the saying goes, "It ain't over till its over"!
