What's On Your Fisher Christmas Wish List 2012?

Hi fellow Detectorist.

I was pondering what would I like for Christmas if it was possible for this 2012 season, what would Santa - (aka D.J. and his elves JG./J.S. / M.K. and others ) .at First Texas, dangle that carrot in front of our eyes with. Myself I could think of a sorta a all terrain 100 % water proof, A Wet Salt Hater with a ignore zap button and a cross between a Omega 8000 and F75 on steroids. Maybe something with a coloured 3d screen with backlight, something you could see in murky water, and only using 4 AA batteries. Something you would be proud to show off at the local Salt water beach in and out of water.Keep it light and like the extension of your arm like the New Tek series detectors. Well it's my Dream. for this Xmas season what's yours?

Detecting The High Salt Content Waters of Nova Scotia

That sure sounds like the ticket! Embedded LEDs in the front of the coil for that ground light effect too!

Mud, I think you are on to something here. If you put the LEDs on the bottom of the coil you could see how high you had the coil off the ground then if you put the right color effects you could get the lights to swirl in a hypnotic pattern and the kids and goofy people who come up to ask dumb questions would zone out and just shuffle along moaning softly like a zombie apocalypse. Sorry, still a quart low on the coffee. Shouldn't post in a negative state (like California )

Am with you about the water proofing, and nice to hear from a Nova Scotia sweeper!!!! hh rick in mi.

Id be happy getting a F70. I had the money twice then murphys law threw a monkey wrench in the plans.

Hey WIHawker, keep an eye on the used market...I've treated my F70 most shamefully for several years straight and it pays for itself time and time again. I would not be at all afraid of a used one, the way I've treated mine with no problems at all.

All I want for Christmas is a 4" x 18" DD coil for my F5

Same as last year.
A multi-frequency machine lighter than my Etrac.
Maybe next year.
If my shoulder and wrist holds out that long.

I'll take one of that dimension coil for the F75. If one only comes out for the F5 platform, then I'd sure be having my arm twisted to get a F5!

I know and understand why you want such a coil. I had the clean sweep coil on my Tejon a few years ago and I cleaned up a very large area in no time.
Found a lot of nice treasures to boot.
