What's more disappointing than not finding gold and/or silver?

Coming home thinking you have found gold and silver and finding out that one is probably not silver and the other is gold plated at best. I was sure I had a nice gold ring!
I am not complaining since I have found both gold and silver this month, but my bubble was burst when I got home and showed it too my wife, and she said it was plate for the ring and the "silver" maybe plastic,covered with metal.

thats is the worst rug pull , hope up you think its gold , and then find out its just plated, but then thats how I have felt with the presidential elections each candidate looks so good but then when in office you find out they where just plated and its a real let down , caw darn it
