I get side tracked for a year with gps units,and come back to metal detecting and notice my detector(ID Excel)is not even mention anymore.I guess it buying time again,my wife is going to love this.
 
Actually it would be best to get two new updated machines - never know when you need backup. Or make that three - then if it don't go over with wife well - well I guess you would have to give one up - sniff sniff
 
The Excel is a good park, lawn machine with it's standard coil. It gets pretty good depth and the numeric system is pretty accurate on telling you what it's over. I think Fisher did it in when they didn't offer any smaller coils for it.
