What's a Wilson 710? Anyone heard of it?

Yep. It was a deep hunting VLF/ VLF-TR Discriminate Non-Motion, Ground Balance All-Metal Non-Motion detector that came out in I think '86. Something about the ground balance circuitry was what gave it it's depth.

....I bought one of the first ones back in 1986.........this was the first model produced by Paul Wilson after the split with Charles Neuman.........I used mine mainly on the salt water beach where I got depth at least equal to a Pulse Induction Detector plus I was not digging any of the small iron targets.......sadly I traded it to a friend about 1990.....years later I tried to relocate it but my friend could not remember who he sold it to plus he died a few years later.......I have tried to find one on the internet but they must be scarcer than Hen's Teeth........only one response in over 5 years of searching and for some reason the person who originally contacted me has not returned my reply.......so my guess is that it is no longer availabe or was damaged......HH.....Joe
