What's a Good Price for a.........
XS- 2A PRO in excellent, slightly used condition?
Thanks for any replies. I want to buy it not sell it. The guy wants $375 and I think that's too much.
Here's some pics of it.
With the meter and in as good shape as it looks, I'd say that's not a bad price at all. (I presume it has all the normall accessories.)

Thanks for the replies, appreciate it. I had a XT 18000 and a SD 2000 back in the day when I was nuggetshooting in N. Arizona, both very good machines. Heard some mixed reviews on the 2a pro, mostly good, anyone know what the weight of just the stick, meter and coil is if I hipmount? Thanks!

The price isn't bad.I would scrap the rod asm and get a straight rod.The weight isn't bad hip mounted but the stock rod asm is still awful and needs to be replaced.

I moved the control box to the back of the stock rod, and it's not bad...I just can't figure out why I have a Popeye arm on my right arm all of a sudden :poke:

I ordered a Sunray inline probe from Rick, and I suspect that'll push it over the edge of "usable" as is......probably will get one of Pluggers fancy straight rods, although I did order his stock rod extension to move the control box back further...I haven't installed it yet though.

Brian,The straight rod asm will allow you to add the probe and the meter and use the Sovereign without too much discomfort.I can notice the extra weight after a couple of hours.Less weight of the 800 Tornado coil could also help, which in a lot of trash I like the separation of this coil.

Hey Ron,

I think the straight rod will probably be my next Sovereign upgrade. I picked up an 8" Coinsearch coil and really like it, it's far better then the 10" BBS coil (especially in trash). I'll probably go ahead and try Pluggers rod extension just to see how it works, but all in all I know a rod upgrade with a joystick handle will probably be the best solution. Now what to do with all the wires

Extra V clips can help also. I have a probe and meter on my XS and the wires don't get in the way.Shorter cables could help, but that would limit the hip mount abilities of your Sovereign.
