What's a 1266x worth?

I am asking this for a friend. He's been out of the detecting scene for yrs and has decided that he wants to hunt again. He's got a really nice 1266x that he bought new. He's wanting a Garrett ATPro He wants to know what his would be worth?

Well condition has a lot to do with it.
Also what he can get out of it will depend on where he tries to sell it at.
And if there is somebody looking for one when it goes up for sell.

I know I recently seen a pretty nice sell for $280.00 but I would think that's a high price for one.

Go to ebay and check the completed listings for 1266x, it will give you a idea of what people are willing to pay. They are selling for 200.00 up to 550.00

I bought a mint one last year for $330.00. I could not tell it had ever been used.

Wish I still had it.

Price will vary on condition. I know I would pay no more than $250. I had a 1265X repaired by fisher. They could only repair it due to the fact they had those parts.

........I would not pay more than $300.00 for one also ...one needs to know what variant that they are getting...I have seen differences in the battery compartment!!

Hmmmm very few parts left to find.I have A close to mint 1266x as it can get with three coils,WITH ONE OF A KIND WATER COIL MADE FOR THE 1266X FROM THE FACTORYDo not use it much keep real good care of it!! Close to mint 1266x's are going for $ 600----$ 700 on flea-bay.most the onces you see now days are worn out,but there are nice ones to be found waiting for the right time to let them go

What is a water coil for the 1266x? I have never heard of one before.

Mine's an original with the white spider coil. Just sold it for 350.00 to a friend..........nge

Just saw one sell for big bucks $480...however it was the same price as a new ace 350 with an extra coil or equal new machine...I rather have a 1266 over an ace 350 or f44 with an extra coil at there new price....How about you guys !

I can't see any 1266 no matter the condition worth that kind of money! and I really like the detector, mine was giving to me.
