Whata day!

IT started out as a pleasant day in SW South Dakota. The temp was 46 degrees and I thought I might make one more day in the field.
but it was not to be as my new E Trac died!! I turned it on and got no response. Put on the headphones and tried again but all I got was a short squeak and no display.
Took out the battery and put in on charge , installed the AA battery pack with the same results!
Any ideas on where to begin to look?

I had that happen with my first Etrac, it was a one day thing. It happened 3 or 4 times within a couple of hours. I finally just put it away thinking I would need to send it out and the very next I got it back out to give it one more try. It never did it again after that day. Very weird but that's just what happened.

Well Jeff I tried to fire up the E Trac after twodays rest but alas it didn't come back to life. If it had to happen I guess winter is a good time to get it looked at. Will contact my seller after Christmas and see what is the next step.
