What You Figure? New Machine, New Series Of Machine Or New Model?

What will the final outcome be? New Series of detectors like ACE 200, Ace 300 & Ace 400? or.....a totally new model platform?

Whatever it is I hope it is a BIG surprise with real improvements at a reasonable price and without any infantile moralities such as we experienced with the ATPro and ATX.

One detector that would really replace 5 or 6 unique detectors in my current arsenal would be enough for me to try a new detector and sell off what it would replace. I can only dream on...for the few couple of days.

I suspect a pulse/vlf hybrid.
I would also like to see the Master Hunter name return

Probably an AT-Z....Z-link built in and perhaps backlight for the screen...maybe adjustable threshold like on ATg

Well, hoping ...

... Numerical VDI readout of target type (of course),

... Imaging of target size and depth,

... Something beyond single frequency VLF, like maybe simultaneous dual frequency,

... Cordless headphones mode, in addition to regular phones jack.

I think it's a stand alone machine. The Ace series fulfills the entry level scope of detecting. They already have the p.i. machines with the ATX being the most recent. I believe this machine will be something different altogether that Garrett hasn't done before. Next on the horizon would be imaging. Who will be first ?

I hope it is something special. I would love to get back with a lightweight us made machine that will compete. I like my deus's but I wouldn't hesitate to let one go for the right Garrett. C'mon Garrett, make it happen.

Guesses?

Wireless Propointer AT.

I'm hoping for something along the lines of AT Pro/Gold that is redesigned, lighter, still waterproof, wireless, back-lit, dual frequency, imaging, able to use for beach hunting in saltwater. Pretty much a combo of the Pro/Gold/GTI2500 with wireless. Did I miss anything ?

Must admit its one of the most boring launches of a new detector ever !!

...guessing a 12noon local Garland Tx time release...hopefully...if someone is in the office today, Saturday to enter the Info to the Web?"

Just remembered today is Garretts big announcement day. Hopped over to the website to see what they are up to. Must have woke up too late and missed the parade. Ah well .

My last Garretts, a whole bunch of years ago was two Gti1500 and a Gti2500.
