I use a HH PI and it is a great detector expecially in water and wet sand, can't comment on the Surfmaster PI.

Thank you. I have a VLF unit that works pretty good but I'am interested in the PI units, I know the PI units can drive you crazy on a trashy beach. Digging holes all day, but you never know what's down deep. Thankyou.

The Surf Master PI Pro, great unit and the price is right.....Friend took his to Hawaii in Dec came back with 7 rings 3 were PT, one was very heavy, he is a Detectorist, tho, so like any unit you have to learn it..HH..Geo <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt="
