What would be your dream find?

I was sitting outside under the veranda watching the rain come down and started to day dream a little,I got to thinking what would I really like to find,I have found my share of nice gold and silver rings etc
but as yet I have not found a gold sovereign,I have seen others find them but so far none have come my way, although I wonder how many I have passed over. The area we are living in now was first settled around the 1830's
and is close to the goldfields.Just curious to see what would be all you folks dream find.........or maybe you have already found it? Lets hear your thoughts............

I dream about finding a nice little cache of silver with a seated half in the mix. Maybe 10 or 12 pieces would be fine. I've always been infatuated with our older silver coins. A gold coin would be nice, but a little stack of silver would be just as good. Hey, JIm are you in New Zealand? I was over that way a couple of years ago.

Any type of coin with a 1600's or earlier date on it.

The twenty cent piece was minted between 1876 and 1877 (with some "proof" mintings in 1878 )

Small image, and small coin, but would be a great find.

I guess I lied....seeing how the date on that one in the pictures has 1875... whooops.

Being in South Louisiana my ultimate finds would be Gold Spanish Reales, U.S. Gold, and Complete Civil War Breast Plate or 2 piece buckle from either side.

Lots of great dream finds listed. I would love a gold coin, but I will be somewhat realistic and say a silver dollar or seated half.

I may have already found my most valuable item, a nearly $200,000 ring that I found and returned to the owner. I hope to find something even better and maybe I will get lucky and won't find the owner on the next one. I return everything that I can.

Now for MY dream.....If I could wave a magic wand for my ideal find and conditions, I would be in maximum 20ft of crystal clear water, with a regulator in my mouth, an Excalibur in my hands and a mass of gold coins under my coil. I don't even care to keep them. I just want the opportunity to find them and enjoy the crazy adrenaline-fueled marathon of fanning and collecting the mass of gold coins.

Slightly more realistically, I would like to find a hoard of any kind and most realistically, I would like to find something even better than the ring I found a returned.

This is a cool thread and I look forward to seeing what all of you dream about. It certainly is already interesting how different all of our dreams are. HH -Marc

Thanks for all your input, keep it going, sure is interesting to see what each others ideals are (I just want to win lotto haha) then I could cruise the world looking for lost treasure.
Still raining here but may be able to get out this arvo and look for that sovereign..........KJ

A lot of great dreams posted! I would like a Bust coin of some type, gold coin of some type and a silver dollar of some type! All in the same hole since I am dreaming!

A silver Indian Peace Medal, ( preferably a Geo. Washington!) ..........or a gold coin!.........have found silver capped bust, seated, Spanish, and a Morgan dollar.......but no gold coin!!
