Will you be taking any pictures? Maybe taking a picture to enter in the Photo Contest? Visiting with kin folks and having a Bar-B-Que cookout? Or will you just spend a quiet weekend resting?
I have decided that this will be a relaxing weekend for me. The weather will not be very nice, more thunderstorms, tornados, and flash flooding is in the weather forecast, time to just sit back and enjoy myself. I want to watch the Indy race, and as a bonus, I want to watch the first series of movies "Rising Texas" that will be on the History Channel on Monday night. There will be ten movies, two hours long each, and will be about the history of Texas independence from Mexico. This link will give you some information.

There has already been one commotion involving our black & white cat and our dog Sadie. I don't know what happened, and really don't care, I put a stop to it, not going to tolerate it this weekend. I had just fed them a few minutes earlier, things were quiet and peaceful, and I had just came back to my study, when all hell broke loose. The cat came flying down the hallway, bouncing off the walls with Sadie hot on her trail, followed by the orange colored cat...a three ring circus. I don't really know what the black & white cat did to Sadie, making Sadie want to take a bite out of her hide, but I stopped it all with a rolled up "sports" section of newspaper. The black & white cat is now hiding under the bed, while Sadie and the orange cat are each sleeping on separate chairs in the family room. Debbie started to get on my case about the animals being on the chairs, her chairs, but I put a stop to that too! I have now just fed the two residential stray cats out front on the porch, telling them that I was not going to tolerate any crap from them this weekend either...this is going to be a friggin relaxing weekend.
I also want to put on a pot of coffee and clean my camera gear, charge batteries, and visit our photo forum, and somehow visit Craig's List looking for old vintage lenses that might be advertised at a bargain price. Like I said, this will be one interesting, relaxing, stress free, enjoyable weekend...trust me. I have a handle on everything except the thunderstorms rolling through the area. Kelley (Texas)
