What Will be The Indicators That The Dual Field Batteries Are Gettieng Low??

Will I lose sensitivity and or depth?

Does the machine just stop?

These batteries seem to go on forever, but sadly I know that isn't the case.

Page 4 of the manual states that if you turn the threshold all the way counter clockwise you will get a tone. The louder the tone is the stronger the batteries are. I don't think there are any other indicators. When the tone gets weak I guess it's time to change.

Dude, I use one set of lithiums all summer and they still don't go completely dead. Don't worry about it, when the batteries go you will know. Just make sure you check them before you go digging. The tone will change in pitch and strength.
 
Owning a TDI I have to put up with the stop light. Just what that means to me is: green is go, yellow is caution, red is dead. So, best advice is to stop on the yellow light.

The reason for this is that the lithium-ion battery provides 300-500 discharge/charge cycles. The battery prefers a partial rather than a full discharge; therefore, full discharges should be avoided when possible.
