What will an Infinium II look like? (For Prospecting)

Well as some of the prospectors realized the Infinium is way over-due for an update. However it has found quite a following in the Relic and Beach Hunters catagory...so I'm speaking basically for prospectors that use the Infinium.

So, maybe Garrett will come out with a new version of the Infinium in the AT series control box...? Eh? What yall think?

The name could be: AT Infinium Gold. (pulse induction of course)

Make it strickly for electronic prospectors that like to use PI's. Could be an Interseting unit if Garrett could make it powerful enough with 4 AA Batteries.

So we would have the standard Infinium LS for Prospecting, Beach and Relics. And have the AT Infinium Gold designed MAINLY for prospectors, but of course one could use it for those others catagories.

It should be HYPER SENSITIVE to small gold which is whats usually the only thing left out there. Hyper sensitive and the beach would not work to well, as per it would be designed for GOLD NUGGETS!

To compete with the MInelab's hyper sensitive GPX 5000...maybe to get close to it anyway.

Thats my idea anyway...I'd buy it.

I would rather that the Infinium came with an adjustment, preferably variable so that you could tune it for the goldfields and maximum sensitivity and then lower the settings for beach use. I also would like the battery power to be maintained or even increased so that you could support larger coils. Something like the NF 18 advantage mono would be great. Garrett need to realize that current VLF technology is of little use in highly mineralized ground.

Minelab have made their GPX series user tunable so that operators can vary setting on ether side of the factory presets. Come on Garrett you can do it!!

It can stay in the same old Sea Hunter MKll style control box. Sensetivity to those tiny "bread and butter" nuggets is really the only improvement that needs to be made for a new Infinium MKll.:garrett::detecting:
Sensetivity adjustment would be cool, for those of us who would like to have it find those tiny nuggets in the goldfields and then use it at other times on the salt water beaches.
Happy Hunting!:)

Yes I agree...any package would be fine to be as long as sensitivity for the bread and butter tiny gold is improved...Its getting way behind in that catagory. The Whites TDI has surpassed it for small gold detection...C'mon Garrett get on it!

How about this, all we need now is for Garrett to do the internal electronics magic thing.

As long as I can send mine in for the update's, I'm fine with it!

Yeh I'll take that too...any update would be nice!

Infinium LS. Mark II,....................... present box/style is just fine.

A faster processor,............. an expanded ground balancing circuit..............use of existing coils,................. plus 2 more coils in size 12x6" Mono and DD same style and lightweight casing as present 10x5"DD.

Another big plus would be if the present Infinium LS housing could be sent in for the circuit board change,................ now that would be an upgrade worth crowing about.

There would be a slight change to the Infinium LS suffix letters interpretation, LS for Land and Sea is the usual promotional explanation.

When Gold prospecting the "LS" is interpreted as Low and Slow and if one is after sub-gram nugs at depth then "LS" changes to Laborious Slow.
If above mods were to be, "LS" could be read as "Leisure Speed" and using it that way would give the user a "Large Smile"

There is always a way to make a smile, but there is only one way if using an Infinium LS.
Start off with an observing attitude.

If you haven't tried don't knock it.

I agree with the above mentioned improvments and would add a standard headphone jack.
