What we do to find treasure.............

Here is a quick vid I took one morning at a local swimming spot in a river. I had water flowing very close to me so it was hard to balance on the rocks while detecting but it was alot of fun. The coin I found was 50c and as you can see quite tarnished as it had been stuck in the crevice for sometime. In many places there were large boulder type rocks and very deep in places so it made detecting very difficult thus not leaving me with many finds. However I would say that in the deep areas would be some very nice treasure that maybe one day I might get to  The 5"x 8" coil would be much better suited here.
Cheers!

Sweet work! That is worthy of a happy dance! I bought the 5x8 for rivers like that and trash. Can't wait to try it- winter stinks right now.

Can't wait to go back, it was alot of fun.
Cheers!

Nice find and video. I hope you practice the buddy system. Those rocks can sure throw you or break a leg. Good luck and HH.

Yea that day I was there with a mate but most of the time I'm on my own. We have salt and freshwater crocs too so yea I always have a nice size knife with me just in case. There were many good targets down a bit deeper but it was too difficult with the stock coil to locate the targets properly and some of the rocks were way too large for us to move, so who knows what kind of items are wedged and stuck waiting to be found.
Cheers!
