What type hunting does the F75 excel at?

I just want to get some opinions now that the F75 has been in use awhile. What is it exceling at relics, coins, jewelry, beach hunting? Thanks to everyone.

I have used a lot of top of the line detectors and the one I always use is the F75. For relic hunting or turf hunting I don't feel I have missed anything. I love the programs and the all metal.

Ok LCPM, thank you for the response and I wasn't sure but I thought it was getting good reports as a relic hunter. I have a Teknetics T2 1st generation still in the box and is the F75 way above the T2? Thank you again and happy hunting, God Bless.

i haven't had any luck with my t-2 yet. if yours is still in the box how do you know that the f-75 is better.

I had the T2 and never liked it for any detecting. I loved fisher and was hoping the F75 would be set up the same way...It was and I feel that it works best at all the types of detecting I do, even playgrounds. What a cool machine once you ajust to the power and the chatter adn learn that it is just reading a lot of stuff in the ground when it hits on a g ood target you will know and trust it.

It excell's at all types of hunting. I have, at this time, an Explorer SE, a Tejon, a T2, a Cortes, and a Sovereign GT. They are all good machines but I am keeping only the F75, and SE, and the Tejon.

I don't think that the SE will find anything that the F75 misses but time will tell. Those two are my main machines. The F75 has a recovery that is instant, I like that a LOT.

It is an excellent machine!!

I've had the T2 for well over a year, since the R6 version first came out. I used it a LOT. I have had the F75 for a couple of months and it is just better in every way. Both machines are good but more than most other machines, you have to suffer through getting used to the way the talk to you. The ones that work right will make you think that there is something wrong with them until you get used to the audio. If you want to see what an F75 will do set the disc to 0, the sens to 75-85, 4 tones, DE or JE and start swinging it in an old yard. It will chatter a lot until you start swinging it over the ground and then you will get a signal every inch or two. I have not tried the T2 like that but I bet it will do the same with the disc on 0 and the sens up. I would GB either machine before you try this kind of setting. You will hear everything in the ground if you do this.

The static AM mode is worth the difference if you want to hunt anything big and deep... like artillary shells.

Four tones, J? What's your thoughts behind the four tones? I'm using two tones to, bottom line, make it more simple. WHat does the four tones do you think?

Not "questioning" questioning you. Just questioning-learning.

Appreciate it,

I think the F75 is the best at everything truf and relic and sand boxes, wood chips.

I like either 4h or 1 tone. I used to use 2F a lot and I still will if I am at a site with a lot of iron. If I am able to hunt the site over time I will use 2F and then later switch to one tone to make sure I am not missing things in 2F.
You and miss good ferrous targets in 2F due to the iron tone in 2F. Usually the iron will lower the number enough to give you a low tone but the number will jump a bit. If you are hunting in one tone you will look at the TID and notice the higher number, you'll usually miss that in 2F.

I like 4H in a place without a lot of trash because those high tones just jump out at you... especially in a vacant lot looking for silver. One tone is the way to go for relics in iron unless your time is limited, then 2F is better.

I think...
