Actually,I rarely find pull tabs at many of my sites. I did however, find bags of them at the local recycling plant. I was tempted to buy them and make something like this. lol

I wonder if that is the older style bever tail ones with bent tails? the new ones would have to be sewn together. Fishing line? Way too much work!!!
