What to Do with Nice Jewelry?

Let's say that you find a piece of jewelry that nobody claims. You searched for the owner, look for initials or names in the jewelry, looked on Craigslist, everything in your power to find the owner, but fail. Where do you get such kind of jewelry appraised and sold?

Any ring that I have found I just give to my wife. She takes it to a jewelry store and finds out if it's real and what it's worth. We have not sold any that I have found yet though. No need to ..

I guess my point was that any reputable jewelry store will be able to give you a general idea of a piece's value. Good luck !
