Hi! I have never been using a metal detector.
I have decided to buy one of these -DFX, -XLT, or -Exp II.
Can anyone help me to chose the right one! Or can anyone give me a advice of a better detector for a beginner?

Will try to find coin, relics perhaps gold.
I will just by one detector even if some might think that it isn't a god way.

Coil, size/manufacturer? Headphones?

Have chose DFX:
Can anyone help me to chose accessories I assume a std. coil is included. I might need some extra coil/coils? earphone etc.

Please help me to chose this, type and where I can buy them.

Might be needed to buy it from Kellyco, They sell international,

Find a club to get help with picking a detector.
Go to a detector shop and check out the detectors.
I like the XL PRO as my detector .
Just like a car you need to do your research.
It is hard to say what detector is good for you.
Some detector are easy to use and others with take time to learn.
Ace 250 for a start is one of the best for the price.
XLT also a good unit
DFX if you are willing to put time to learn it.
EX2 also take time to learn.
All are very good units.
Read this site for lots of info and www.firstontop.com for some tips also.Hope this helps:twodetecting:

If you are getting into the hobby and have no experience then the best machine to start with would be the ACE 250 by Garrett. It will introduce you to the hobby with a big selection of many features which most of the more expensive machines have, it will minimize your learning time, it is light and capable with modest depth. Plus it requires only about a $200 investment. If you decide at a later date that the hobby is not for you, then you can resell the machine with minimal loss due to their high demand and resale value. Don't make the mistake of buying a top of the line machine which requires a large time investment learning curve because you will quickly get frustrated with it and leave the hobby. Get a capable, well performing machine that shows you the fun of hunting. Then after several months resell or keep it as a second machine and advance to a more expensive model after you understand which of the features you like and machines you prefer. Join a local club also. Its a great fun hobby but start slow and move up and you'll long for the hunt!

Thanks a lot, but there ain't any club i this part of Sweden cause there are some ugly regulations. In some area are there even prohibiting to search with metal detector (could give two years in prison for searching) even to search in "allowed" field/forest you need a a document form the authority confirming that it's ok, and before you must have specified the area that will be searched.
Regulations is because there have been a lot of stolen coins/artifact from viking graves etc.
But what i understand from your answer is that it's better to start with a "easy" to learn detector.

thanks

Yes I would get the Ace 250 to start with or a Prizm.
Some of us have 5 or more detectors
I have for Deeeep coins and relics etc the XL PRO, for parks and kiddie sand box the Prizm 2 and for the water I have a water proof classic 1.
I will be adding a M6 next.:clapping:
