What to buy for Christmas?

I have a SE Pro. with a 10 x12 SEF coil. Im thinking about buying the 13in Ultimate coil with my clad from this year or should I wait and buy a waterproof machine with the rest of my Christmas money? Is the Ultimate gonna get me more depth than the 10 x12? I like finding silver but need to find some gold too! Thats why I'm thinking a waterproof machine for water as I live close to lake michigan.

Blue,

I can't speak to the waterproof coil, since I don't water hunt. I can; however, speak to the Ultimate 13" coil. Look back through my posts for this year, and you'll see every single thing I found was with the Ultimate. It is amazing in identifying good targets in with junk, and it also gets excellent depth. Read Bryce Brown's field tests on it and you'll get a clearer idea.

I can't, nor will I, tell you what to buy, but you can't go wrong with the Ultimate coil.

Perhaps Santa will bring your football team a new coach named Harbaugh!

HH and Merry Christmas!

Finding gold jewelry increases greatly on beaches and in the water so take this into consideration.....

Last year I used my Christmas gift certificates to buy the Ultimate 13 and it has stayed on my SE. I bought it after reading Bryce Brown's field tests and couldn't be more pleased. In his review, Bryce says "If this coil said coin...I never even looked at the screen...it ended up being a coin". I am reminded of that every time I find a deep copper or silver coin. He was "dead on" with that review. Syd

Most of my Gold finds down the beach are with a waterproof detector.
So I would save up and buy a detector that you can use in the rain when you have the beaches to yourself.
You are lucky my wife pinches all the good stuff for the parking meters. Don't know what she will do when they change the £1 coin design from roung to 12 sided like the old 3d piece.

Im hoping for Harbaugh, and I meant a water proof machine not coil.
I Hope Harbaugh comes back to Chicago as we need a strong minded coach instead of a whimp!
