hello all, another blast from the past from the old vault. this is a late 1960s wooden token for coffee at sambos. mom used to work there in the mid to late 1960s. i can clearly remember her emptying her tips out onto the kitchen table at night...a veritable flood of silver dimes and quarters! those were the good ol days...from when we lived in riverside, ca.
 
I used to collect the wooden tokens from bars and such...I have no idea what ever happened to my collection...Probably what happened to a LOT of my stuff when I went into the Army...My parents shot it out, or my nephew got into it and took it, sold it, or ruined it...what a shame...One reason I joined the Service...I had to get out of my parents house before I strangled them...
