What the heck is this thing? Giant duck call?

I found this some years back at an old homestead. I have searched for game calls but I can

I have something similiar except mine has a round hole for a spigot and a three foot wooden tube attachted. It used to have a label on it that said "Handy Barrel Pump" which I guess means it was once used to pump liquids from wooden barrels. Maybe that is what you have, just a different design?

an old hand corker for compressing corks and inserting them in wine bottles. The tapered metal sleeve would compress the cork before it goes in the bottle.

It is a bottle corker. I posted it on another forum and that's what they said. I found some on Ebay, picture below. Thanks for the help.
