What the ATP left for the Infinium and me.

Last week I posted about my Pro finding 26 nickels at a old distant park. Well it was bothering me about that site. 16 of the nickels came late in the hunt all 6-8" deep mixed with beaver tail tabs.
You know you just never get it all so I took the Inferno out there yesterday. Went straight to where I left off. Started hitting deep nickels and all the beaver tails the Pro X out. Wasn't the Pro s fault, just didn't have enough time to hunt it out. Anyways the Inferno got 27 coins in that area, all nickels. Dates ranging from 52 to 89. So what ever was going on in that area musta stopped in 89.
My guess could have been a stand there selling at a price involving nickels as change. The rest of the Park that I've hunted is fairly barren.
Well this moves the Inferno to 212 nickels for the year the ATP trailing with 167 , all in all with a couple other detectors, gives me 464 nickels for the year. Goal being 500.
 
Alright man! You better hurry up and tap out on the nickels, I doubt we have much year left!:clapping:

Way to go Dancer! What is it with the nickels??? Are people with other detectors not seeing them or not bothering to dig them? I went to a gravel parking lot for about an hour yesterday and I too found more nickels than anything else.

Maybe cause their close to pull tabs. Today , 36 coins only 2 nickels. Sometimes though they come in clusters.

Every time that I dig a pull tab or nickel it tells me that the place that I'm detecting is NOT hunted out. There are gold rings hiding in there somewhere.:)

I had my doubts about your 500 mark. I have been rooting for you and now you are within reach of your goal.
At the rate your the Garretts love the nickles, you are sure to make the 36 needed before New Years Eve.
