What rock or mineral is this?

Its green all the way through with some magnetic properties. I believe to be iron judging by the strip of rust or oxidation. If you could help identify that would be awsome.

I recommend you find someone who has an XRF handheld analyser to check it. Most larger scrap yards would have one. It would show what metals are present in the rock.
