I had a Bandito two U Max that I really enjoyed useing because it pin-pointed so well . I'm thinking about buying the Tejon and would like to know if it pin-points like the Bandito two U Max did . if not , which one of the new Tesoro's would pin-point like the Bandito ? thank you for your help

The Vaquero and Cibola I beleive both have the new pinpoint feature. And from what I'm hearing are very good machines and are supposed to be deeper diggers.

I havent used the BIIumax, but do use a Pantera with the slow retune. I assume they are very similar. I also used the Tejon, and its retune is much faster. In fact, it is too fast for my taste. I did like using the trigger for it, as it felt natural, but if you went too slow, it would retune, then you would have to move it off the target and restart the process. I found it much easier to just pinpoint by X-ing the target, which didnt work so well if you had a target that crackeled because of local interference. I have heard good things about both of the new detectors, but havent tried either yet.

1/4 to 1/2 inch of the target every time. One of the best pinpointing machines I have ever used. The only other that was as good if not better is the Coinstrike.

Everyone , Thank you for your in-put .
good hunting
